The Oliali Project

« OLIALI » is a collection of clothes created in France by Olivier Montes and Aurélia Trainor, made in Nepal through fair trading agreements, and presented in the « OLIALI » shop in La Couvertoirade (France).
We are personally present at each step of production: from dyeing the cotton to the finished product, including spinning and weaving.

We guarantee that all our employees work in good conditions.

Buttis

Buttis are small bags filled with incense, traditionally worn around the neck of Nepali children to protect them and give them luck.
These buttis are made by women rescued by TDHF and paid for making them.
Olialiboutik buys a large amount of buttis from TDHF, and gives away one with each « OLIALI » product sold, as a sign of its partnership.

Incenses

TDHF makes totally natural incense in the traditional way, the composition of which is based upon very old recipes.

Our Support To WEPCO

« WEPCO » stands for Women’s Environment Preservation Committee. This association aims to increase the awareness of Nepali people regarding the recycling of waste. For that, it employs women who drive an awareness program through door-to-door visits, by the creation of « ecology-clubs » in the schools, and by training women in the recycling of waste. Moreover, «WEPCO» makes a range of products from recycled paper.

Olialiboutik helps fund this project by ordering paper bags from this committee which are then used when « OLIALI » products are sold.
